Your Capitals Minute for Wednesday, March 20

March 20, 2013

The Capitals began a four-game road trip Tuesday night with a narrow 2-1 loss at Pittsburgh. As play begins tonight around the NHL, Washington is seven points out of a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, and nine points back of the Winnipeg Jets for the Southeast Division lead.

The Caps have an opportunity to gain big ground on the Jets, with two games at MTS Centre this week. Thursday's game is at 8:00 eastern, with Friday's tilt set for 7:00. Washington has just 19 games left to try and find a ticket to the Stanley Cup playoffs, and are currently 14th in the Eastern Conference race.

Here is today's Capitals Minute, looking back at a tough loss, and the road ahead this week.
