Your Capitals Minute for Tuesday, February 26

February 26, 2013
CRN LogoThe Capitals hope to conclude a winning three-game homestand Tuesday night, as the Carolina Hurricanes come to Verizon Center at 7:00 p.m. It's the first meeting of five between the two Southeast Division rivals, and the first time Alexander Semin will play against Washington after signing with the Hurricanes last summer. Carolina and Tampa Bay are tied for the top spot in the Southeast with 19 points, with the Caps only six points back and with a game in hand on the Lightning.

Tuesday's game will be the first since the team announced the contract extensions of Braden Holtby and John Erskine. Hear what they have to say, and get ready for Carolina with today's Capitals Minute.
