Your Capitals Minute for Monday, March 18

March 18, 2013

Jason Chimera picked up his first goal of the season Sunday, and Alex Ovechkin scored just 19 seconds into the game to lift the Capitals to a 5-3 win over Buffalo at Verizon Center. The win moved Washington within seven points of first place Winnipeg with a game in hand on the Jets. The Caps will play in Winnipeg twice this week, with a stop in Pittsburgh against the Penguins Tuesday night.

Here is today's Capitals Minute, with a look back at Marcus Johansson scoring his second goal in as many games Sunday. The Caps fly to Pittsburgh this afternoon, and will face the Penguins Tuesday night at 7:30.
