Alex Ovechkin, Marcus Johansson, and Jason Chimera led a second period offensive charge Thursday that fueled a 3-1 Washington victory in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. The victory over New York gave the Capitals a one game to none lead in the best-of-seven series, which resumes Saturday afternoon at 12:30. The game is an NBC national broadcast, so the only local call of the game will be on 106.7 The Fan and 1500 AM beginning at 12:15 Saturday afternoon.

Here is today's Capitals Minute, looking back at Thursday's Game 1 win over the Rangers, and a look ahead to Saturday's Game 2.
