Your Capitals Minute for Friday, March 29

March 29, 2013

The Capitals will have another practice this morning in Arlington, before departing for Buffalo later today. Washington's playoff chances could very well hang in the balance in the upcoming three-game road trip that features visits to western New York, Philadelphia and Carolina. Once the Caps return from North Carolina after the game with the Hurricanes Tuesday night, only 12 regular season games will remain.

Here is today's Capitals Minute, with Nicklas Backstrom's reaction to having three days without a game this week, the longest such stretch for Washington since February 20. Airtime on the Capitals Radio Network Saturday is at 6:00 p.m., one hour prior to puck drop with Monumental Network's All-Access.
