April 5, 2013

The Capitals have arrived in south Florida, and are preparing to take on the Florida Panthers for the final time this season Saturday at BB&T Center. Washington moved into first place in the Southeast Division Thursday, following a 2-1 shootout win over the New York Islanders. Following a season-opening stretch that saw the Caps win just two of its first 11 games, Washington is 16-9-1 since. Adam Oates and company control its own fate with three weeks to go in the regular season, chasing a Southeast Division title.

Here is today's Capitals Minute, and also postgame audio from Thursday, when Ben Raby and Ken Sabourin chatted with defenseman Jack Hillen. Airtime on the Capitals Radio Network is 6:00 p.m., with Monumental Network's All-Access, followed by the game at 7:30 p.m. from south Florida.
