Oates on Buffalo, chatting with Mike Ribeiro as Caps clash with Sabres Sunday

January 27, 2013
Buffalo SabresThe Capitals return home Sunday for a matinee performance against the Buffalo Sabres at 3:00 p.m. With a two-game, all Canadian road trip looming this week, Washington tries to break into the win column after gaining a standings point Friday night at New Jersey. Friday's game, although not a victory, showed many signs of progress for a team adjusting to a new style of play. Michal Neuvirth, who played brilliantly in defeat against the Devils, draws the start again for the Capitals, his third start in four days.

Get your game day started by listening to a pair of pregame interviews, first with head coach Adam Oates, and then center Mike Ribeiro. Ribeiro is coming off his first goal in a Washington sweater Friday in Newark. Puck drop Sunday is at 3:00 p.m., airtime on the Capitals Radio Network is at 2:45. Stations carrying today's game include 106.7 The Fan and WFED-AM 1500 in Washington, CBS Sports Radio 1300 and 97.5 FM HFS in Baltimore, WRNR-AM 740 in Martinsburg, WV, WNOS-AM 1450 in New Bern, NC, and WKAV-AM 1400 in Charlottesville.
