Caps return to the FM dial in Washington

January 23, 2017
Some great news today, as we've added FM and HD radio outlets to go along with 1500 AM in Washington. Starting with tonight's game against Carolina, you can hear all Caps games this season on 104.7 FM, as well as 101.1 HD2 if you're HD radio capable in your car.

104.7 FM's tower is in Silver Spring, and reaches everywhere in the District, a good chunk of northern Virginia, southern Montgomery County, a healthy chunk of Prince George's County, reaching Reston to the West going toward Dulles, and more. It also comes in loud and clear outside Verizon Center and on your way home, so be sure to catch the postgame show tonight there.

101.1 HD2 booms in every direction, to Baltimore, Frederick, almost to Hagerstown, and well on your way to Richmond going south.

Let me know what you think of the new stations when you get a chance. It's always a happy day when there are more ways to listen to the Capitals Radio Network!
