After digging a 3-0 and 4-1 hole against Calgary Thursday night, the Capitals rallied to defeat the Flames 5-4 in a shootout at Verizon Center. The win evened Washington's record at 1-1-0, with a game in Dallas looming Saturday night. Alex Ovechkin led the offense Thursday with two goals, giving him three in two games.
