Defenseman Patrick Wellar won a Calder Cup with Hershey in 2010, and split time between the Bears and Reading this season. But after Hershey was eliminated from the Calder Cup playoffs, Wellar chose to return to the Royals to pursue another championship dream.
It's not just Wellar that suited up in both Hershey and Reading this season. Five different players on Reading's roster for the Finals saw time in Chocolatetown this season.
