Adam Oates on Saturday's win, Ovechkin, playing Carolina and John Carlson's haircut

February 26, 2013
Adam OatesWith a regulation win and a little help from the Buffalo Sabres, Washington could move within four points of the Southeast Division lead Tuesday night. The Carolina Hurricanes currently share the top spot with Tampa Bay, who host the Sabres Tuesday in central Florida. But the Caps can only control what happens at Verizon Center Tuesday, as the Hurricanes provide the opposition for the first time this season. The Caps hope the good times continue after a four-goal third period and a 5-1 win over New Jersey Saturday afternoon. The game also marks the return of Alexander Semin, who faces Washington for the first time.

My interview with Adam Oates is here, on the above topics, Alex Ovechkin, and John Carlson having less resistance after getting a haircut.
