Chatting with Adam Oates, as road trip begins in south Florida

February 12, 2013
Adam OatesWashington's three-game road trip begins tonight in Sunrise, as the Caps face the Florida Panthers at 7:30. Braden Holtby gets the nod for the second straight game, while the Cats counter with Scott Clemmensen. Florida has opted to shake up the lines tonight, with Kris Versteeg back on the number one trio with Stephen Weiss and Tomas Fleischmann. After a two-game absence as a healthy scratch, Alex Kovalev is back in for Florida tonight, on a line with Tomas Kopecky and Marcel Goc.

My game-day conversation with Adam Oates is below, as the Caps look for road win number one of the season tonight.
