Pittsburgh scored five times in the second period Thursday to overwhelm the Capitals by a 5-2 final at Consol Energy Center. With the victory, the Penguins have won five straight, while Washington fell for the fifth time in six decisions. The Caps will skate at Kettler this morning at 11:00, with the Florida Panthers in town Saturday night at Verizon Center. Puck drop is at 7:00 p.m., with airtime on the radio side one hour prior at 6:00 with Monumental Network's All Access.
