About Last Night: Caps get a point, but fall to Devils in OT

Prudential Center, in NewarkThe Capitals picked up a point at Prudential Center Friday night, but ultimately fell to New Jersey 3-2 in overtime. Ilya Kovalchuk scored the overtime game-winner in the final minute of sudden death, pushing the Devils to a perfect 3-0-0 mark. Washington falls to 0-3-1, with a home game against Buffalo looming Sunday afternoon. 

It may not have ended well, but there were some exciting third period moments for Washington. A two goal comeback forced OT, with Mike Ribeiro and Mike Green finding the net for the first time this season. Hear last night's highlights here, in About Last Night.
